Zorya is the hardware companion of the OA app: a rugged smartphone case that turns your phone into a complete safety device for the mountains.
Three networks in one device
- GSM when a terrestrial network is available, for the fastest and cheapest messages.
- Satellite (IoT-NTN) when you are out of coverage, to send your position and an SOS from almost anywhere.
- LoRa mesh to keep a group connected in a valley or a canyon, even without any infrastructure.
Zorya automatically picks the best available channel, so you never have to think about it when it matters.
Where we are
The functional prototype is now complete and has been tested on the trails by our team and by volunteers. We are entering the last steps of certification before production. You can already reserve your beacon to be among the first to receive it.
